• No audio recording. QuietMic never records, stores, or transmits your voice or any audio content.
• No speech analysis. We do not analyze, transcribe, or process the content of what you say.
• No precise location. We use only approximate location derived from your IP address — never GPS or precise coordinates.
• No third-party advertising data. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
• No computer name or hostname. We do not collect or transmit your computer's name or network hostname.
• No sensitive data. We do not collect health, financial, or other sensitive personal information.

App Functionality

Device ID and User ID are used to manage your license, sync settings across reinstalls, and ensure the app works correctly on your device.

Analytics and Improvement

Usage data, crash reports, and device information help us understand how QuietMic is used, identify bugs, and prioritize improvements. This data is aggregated and used internally only.

Personalization

Approximate location and usage patterns may be used to tailor in-app messaging, defaults, or future features to your region or usage context.
